How to change iPlum Caller-ID?

Login to secure online portal https://my.iplum.com.

  1. Dashboard || Users || Click iPlum Login ID of the User || Settings
  2. You will see different options you can edit.

iPlum Profile

This is your local profile in iPlum system.

Login ID: Click on the pencil icon next to it and update the login-id to a different mobile number or email address.  The system will send a verification code to the new login-id which when verified becomes login id of the account.

Email: Click on the pencil icon next to it and update to new email. The change is instant.

Name: Click on the pencil icon next to it and update to new name for your iPlum system.  

Carrier Profile

This is your profile with carrier systems.

Name: To change, click on the pencil icon next to it and update.

Some underlying carriers require approval of your business profile before allowing name updates.  It can take 24-48 hours for approval process.

Once approval is granted, you can change your name for carrier systems which will show up as your caller-id.

Note: For Toll-free numbers it will show caller-id name as "Toll-free". Certain Canada carriers only have number field. They don't propagate names.

Advanced Caller ID

By default caller-id is the name and number for that user account.  If you wish, you can change the user's caller-id to another iPlum number within same team account.

Normally this option is used when you want to show your organization's main iPlum number for outgoing calls instead of your direct iPlum number.

Click on the pencil icon next to it and choose between user's number, or other iPlum numbers on the account.
