How does music on hold (MOH) work?

How to hold a call with music?

iPlum Mobile App:

After you receive a call , you can put the caller on hold by pressing *8 (star 8).

You can un-hold the call by again pressing *8.

Both parties will hear music.

iPlum Web Portal:

After you accept the call, there is a call hold button. You can toggle it to hold & unhold the call.

Both parties will hear music.

‍

Note: If you are using call recording, it is advised to press Mute button because recording will record all sounds in the recording irrespective of hold.
