How does iPlum SmartConnect work?

iPlum SmartConnectTM

You can initiate a 3-way call effortlessly using iPlum —for both incoming and outgoing calls.

While on an active call:

• Press *7, then enter the 10-digit number and press #.

• Once the third party answers, press:

0 to bridge the 3-way call

1 to exit the call (the other two will continue talking)

2 to disconnect the third party

Notes:

1. The feature works with or without phone-tree.

2. If you enter an incorrect number, you can press # to cancel it and then press*7 again.

3. If you simply hang up without pressing any of the above options, it will remove you from the call and connect the other two parties.

Example

A calls B (an iPlum number), B wants to bring C into the call (e.g. 202-123-1234).

B will enter *7 in their keypad followed by 2021231234# ( e.g. *72021231234#). This will put the call between A & B on hold and A will hear music.

Then B will press one of these options:  0, 1, 2

0 to bridge the 3-way call

1 to exit the call (the other two will continue talking)

2 to disconnect the third party

Note: If B just hangs up without pressing any of the above option, it will disconnect B from the call and keep A connected with C.
