How to make or receive calls using iPlum web portal?

Introducing iPlum Web Calling

iPlum Web Calling is a convenient way to make and receive calls directly from your web browser. No phone or additional hardware is required. This feature is perfect for remote workers and professionals on the go, and it integrates smoothly with your computer and headset.

Web calling is included at no extra cost with both the Professional and Premium plans.

Once you're logged into iPlum, a floating call panel will appear on the right side of your browser window. This panel gives you quick access to: Keypad, Favorites, Recents, Contacts, Voicemail and Notifications

Click the Keypad option to bring up the iPlum dialer.

Choosing an Outbound Number: If multiple numbers are available to you ( for example,shared lines from other employees ), you can select the desired number from the dropdown menu before placing a call.

To dial a number, you can either manually enter the phone number using the keypad or click the contact book icon to choose a saved contact.

After initiating a call by clicking the Call button, the interface will update with options to: Mute, Adjust audio settings (here you can select input and output audio devices), Reopen the keypad, Hold the call with Music and the End all button.

If you have any favorites saved in your contacts, they will appear under the Favorites tab. The Recents option displays recent calls,voicemails, and — if you're on the premium plan — call recordings.

The Contacts tab shows all your saved contacts, while the Voicemail option takes you directly to your voicemail inbox.

Under Notifications, you can mute call alerts as well as sounds for texts and voicemails. If a number has been shared with you, you can also mute itscall, text, and voicemail notifications here.

Note: These notifications will work when your browser and app native notifications are enabled.

There are two ways to change alert notifications.

a) Select floating call panel on the right of your browser screen. Select notifications icon. Here you can change options for call & text notifications for your iPlum app and web portal. This can be done for your primary number and shared numbers.

b) Dashboard || Settings || Click iPlum Login ID of the line || Notifications. Here you can change options for call & text notifications for your iPlum app and web portal. This can be done for your primary number and shared numbers.
